My mind has been swarming with memories and emotions last night and today. Some of them were from when Jill and then Jen started Kindergarten, some from my own first days of school in my 38 years of teaching, and now from anticipating and watching Isa's first day of Kindergarten. I tried picturing Isa as a student coming into my classroom. She's the one that makes a teacher's schoolyear joyful; the student who is full of creativity, asks lots of questions, has a kind heart, and enjoys helping others. Of course, I know it's her Grandma talking, but Mrs. Harvey just doesn't know yet what a joyful year she is going to have. She has so many praying for her!
Isa had a terrific day at school! Praising God for what is and is to come!

So this one might need an explanation: Isa is going to wear new shoes so Daddy is putting bandaids on her feet in case they rub. :)
