Bubbles and Blessings

Yesterday evening I watched Isa and Amelia chase bubbles blown again and again into the air. At first, Amelia was hesitant about them coming too close, but after watching Fearless Isa run face first into them, she began doing the same. It reminded me about the fearless abandonment evident in children. As adults, we have a more difficult time with our faith being strong enough to be fearless as the Lord often calls us to do. So I pray for our grandchildren to see the adults around them being faithful; see us placing God first; see us on our knees; see us being humble, as servants; and to see us always as a work in progress, needing forgiveness.  I also pray that they see themselves as valuable, not because they receive attention and accolades, but because our LORD thinks they are valuable.
Cade was more interested in batting practice.
Nathan was actually asleep during all of this. But I just had to include a cute picture!
Sydney: 4 days old
Some of Sydney's pics could definitely use captions!
