Since I am once again behind in blogging, I'm going to just put up some pictures of what's been going on. The first pictures go back to VBS in June. I was a Guide with the little cuties in Preschool. They are so much fun!
The next pictures are of Cade getting a golf lesson from Grampa. Cade was very enthusiastic about this lesson even after about 30 minutes! The part that helped him the most was when Mike would hold his own club behind Cade so he couldn't make too big of a swing. Cade got very excited when he could see that this worked for both hitting the ball and for making it go straight.
***If you're looking for an easy way to add a hole to your backyard for putting, a plastic 6" flower pot placed into the dugout hole works great! The lawn mower goes right over it. Cade's club is an old one of Mike's that he cut off and regripped for him.

Summer movie times:
And finally, these last 2 pics are from a post-VBS play time. The kids wanted to pretend they were camping and wanted to make a fire. So Isa had a creative idea of taking a flashlight and covering it with "fire". She colored paper, cut strips, and covered the flashlight with the strips. Then we stuck it in a tall cup so it would stand straight. Of course, then came the toasting marshmallows idea! All we had were the mini ones, and we stuck them on the end of cakepop sticks for roasting! Happy Campers!
