Yesterday, Jill and Marcus brought the kids over for our 2nd annual 4th of July Olive Park Neighborhood Parade. Everyone decorates bikes, wagons, scooters and strollers and even themselves, and then walk/ride together for about 6 blocks. This year there were drinks, snowcones, and popcorn at the starting point and popcicles for all the kids at the end. It's becoming a great tradition! Last year, Mike and I walked in the parade with everyone, but this year we decided to find a spot to stand along the way and wave and cheer as they went by. Jill was quite the trooper--eight months pregnant and walked the whole way! But Mike and Marcus did take the truck and leave it ahead of time at the finish so they could all ride home.
