My Birthday

My Birthday Week or My Birthday Month might be an even better title for this post. It's fun to have a celebration with family and then another with friends. But this year, I had another one a week after my birthday when this beauty arrived at my door...

I've been longing for a better camera for quite awhile, and the time to get it finally seemed right. With great restraint, I resisted getting an even more powerful (and more expensive) model, but this one will do just fine! I'm having such fun with it and still learning how to use all of the bells and whistles. Photography was one of my passions in college, but that was with having to go through the whole process of developing film and printing from negatives. My how media has changed in the past 40+ years!!

These are a few pics from my first day with my new friend. It seems that a roll of tape in the hands of a 2 yr old and a 4 yr old can entertain for quite awhile!
