Valentine's Day Fun

Isa's class had a sock hop on Valentine's Day again this year. Gramma had to take the poodle skirt (from last year, that used to be Jill's) home and add some fabric and some elastic in the waist band, but it fit perfectly. She was so excited and in a rush to change clothes when I got to the house in the morning that I didn't have a chance to take her picture! :(
When Cade and Sydney and I picked her up after school, she was still bubbling over wth excitement, and couldn't wait to get home and open all of her valentines. After changing into her red scottie skirt, dancing around with Syd and Cade and their mylar balloons, and eating heart shaped bluberry pancakes, she retreated to her bunkbed to open her valentines. A few minutes later I heard, "Gramma! One of my valentines says, 'Will you marry me!!' "
