The Baby. Even her older brother and sister sometimes call her that. But usually when they call her The Baby, the sentence is something like, "Grandma, come get The Baby!!" Sydney doesn't know she's a baby. She's 14 months going on 3 years at least. Her passion for adventure is already so evident. And because she started walking so young (9 mos.), she has perfected her mobility skills and challenged the adults around her to be more quick and alert. Consequently, the really great pictures are not on my camera, since if I go for the camera I won't catch her before she climbs too high, or reaches her hand once again into the toilet (my goal is usually to be able to scoop her up and grab her arms before the toilet-hand goes into her mouth). Part of the game with her is for her to look to see if you are watching, and as soon as she knows that you are, then she laughs and runs faster for her goal. Oh this little one makes life fun!

Miss Sydney is something else . . . just want to squish her! Such a personality, it'll take her far in life. You are one blessed Grandma!
