New Found Freedom

The past 3 weeks have marked the beginning of new adventures for Sydney. She is crawling and discovering that she can reach many places that previously were out of reach. And the rest of us have had to begin new diligence in keeping little toys and bits of whatnot off of the floor. The looks on Sydney's face have shown her glee with each new accomplishment--like one of the first times she crawled and rolled from the carpet to the hardwood floors and kept bending over again and again to lay her cheek on the cool surface. Or, sometimes we'll hear her screams of frustration--like when she rolled to the couch and got her head wedged under the edge! She's fun to watch, but she's getting so quick that I'm also starting to think maybe a bell on the ankle would be helpful!
