Visit From Iowa-Part 1

We waited with great anticipation for Jen and Amelia and Nathan to arrive from Iowa recently. Since our cars wouldn't fit both Mike and I going to the airport and bringing everyone home, we went back and forth with deciding who was going to be the one to go get them. My winning card to play was the fact that a 8:40 PM arrival time is when my hubby is usually in bed. Yes!

I really like that our airport is quick and easy to get to--7 minutes and I was parked and inside and  pacing. But finally they arrived!!

Tired from traveling and waiting in airports, four hours past bedtime, but here!

The next morning we joined the cousins over at the Vidals.

That night, for my b'day (!) I decided I wanted to stay home with the grandbabies while Jill and Marcus and Jen went to the Youth For Christ annual dinner. It was so much fun having them all together again! We had a Pajama Dance Party in Grandpa's room after dinner. Easiest way ever to get them all to run to put on their pjs. This bunch does like music and dancing!



Well, yes, I was exhausted after I finally got them all in bed--but it was fun!!
