Making Bread

Isa and Cade and I made Turkey Bread, or maybe I should say we made bread shaped like a turkey :).  Sydney would have loved to help also. Fortunately, I was able to put her in the highchair and find enough things to occupy her.
I was waiting til I found the recipe I used so I could make a link to this project, but decided I should post  before more time passes. This was a project we did right before Thanksgiving. It was so easy since all of the ingredients were mixed in a gallon sized Ziploc bag.
Cade and Isa have become fond of sitting on our kitchen counters to help with cooking. It started with Isa helping Grandpa make his coffee and has progressed from there. Of course, I probably could have had more of Isa's attention if the Yogi Bear movie wasn't on the TV at the same time (as you can see in one of the shots where they're looking away). Cade was more into this project (he'd already seen the movie!). He didn't even want to get down from the counter during the "rest" time while waiting for the yeast to do it's magic so we could continue. Isa was more interested once Cade and I had the dough all ready.
They liked making the turkey, but even more they liked playing with the extra dough and making what they wanted. Fun times.
