For Such a Time as This

The time has finally come! When I started this blog it gave me great pleasure to write about and post pictures of our grandkids, and it still does. The only sad part was learning that pictures were not to be posted of foster children and therefore I needed to remove any pics of Amelia. So, reluctantly, I did. But a lot has transpired since then and now I can post away!! So I'm making up for lost time and starting from the beginning of our story with Amelia.

Amelia arrived(with us) right before Thanksgiving in 2008, already 2 months old, a sweet little girl, and she seemed to fit right in.

Then in June, 2009, Amelia had to go back with her birth mother and step-father. I think your head knows that the possibility is there, but the heart just doesn't want to believe that it really will happen. =(











In September, she came for a visit!! And we thought that that would be the last time we might see her, that God's plan was for her to stay with her birth mother.

But on Dec 7, Amelia had another court date, Jen received a call from the birth mother asking if they still wanted to adopt her, and on Dec 9, Jen and Steve picked up Amelia and brought her HOME!! Smiles all around!!

Our Little Darlin' on Christmas Eve and now, Feb, 2010. God is SO good!!!
