New Beginning

It guess it was my turn for a computer crash. So the "new beginning" is having to reload everything. Fortunately we have our systems backed up, but I haven't had time to contact Norton to see how it's done.
I have to say that Dell made this process very stressless. After a 20 minute wait, I spent 40 minutes on the phone with a patient and efficient support tech who arranged for a new hard drive to be sent to me along with a new DVD hard drive. Not only did he send out the new hardware, he also arranged for someone to come to the house to install it! He said it would take 2-3 days for the installation tech to call and then make an appointment, but I received the call the next day and he came to install it the following day.  Not bad, not bad at all.  AND, now I know to call much sooner next time. If you ever get a clicking sound (not a beep code) while powering on or off your computer, call a tech immediately!!

In the midst of the pc problems,  we had a great time at the Night of Hospitality last Saturday. It was a fun table to decorate, but with Christmas coming, I'm glad to now have time for other projects.
